Fear is usually people’s compass through life, the most powerful emotion they have trouble to overcome. I usually tell my coachees when fear comes to acknowledge it and evaluate what kind of real danger they are in, which is none for their fear is generally a reflex reaction to a childhood emotional danger that no longer exists. Then I tell them to picture their fear as a small child coming to help and ask them to say thanks to that child for coming, that his help is no longer requested in that specific situation and that he can go back home. Unless we are confronted with direct violence, we are never ever in danger and it is important to remember it at all times, especially with the medias all around the world blowing fear 24/7. Lots of love to everyone.
